Caramelised Pork Sirloin with Apricot Jam

A delicious and super quick recipe for Caramelised Pork Sirloin with Apricot Jam for four people with @soyketogenic.

Pork is one of the most versatile meats. It can be savoury or it can have a sweet touch. Although this recipe is made with apricot jam, we are convinced that it could also work with other of our favourite flavours, for example strawberry or orange.

  • 1 pork sirloin
  • 4 tbsp keto protein apricot jam
  • 1 tbsp mustard
  • 2 tbsp balsamic vinegar
  • 1 onion
  • Butter,
  • Salt, pepper and spices to your liking


Make a marinade with: 1 tablespoon of mustard, 2 tablespoon of keto apricot jam, 1 tablespoon of pepper, 1 tablespoon of garlic powder and 1 tablespoon of salt. Mix well until a homogeneous concentration is achieved.

  • Spread the sirloin and coat it with the previously prepared marinade, making sure it is well covered all over. Cover and leave to rest for 30 minutes in the fridge.
  • After 30 minutes, melt a tablespoon of butter in a frying pan and sear the sirloin until the surface is golden brown.
  • Remove the sirloin, cover and bake for 20 minutes at 350°C.
  • While the meat is baking, prepare the sauce by pouring one chopped onion, two tablespoons of balsamic vinegar and two tablespoons of apricot jam into the same pan. Fry until golden brown.
  • Once browned, blend the sauté with the juice previously released by the sirloin to form a sauce.

Finally, cut the sirloin into generous slices and pour the delicious sauce over the top. Now there is only one step left… enjoy!
